I promised last week I'd keep you updated on the steampunk ball my crew and I attended, so here we are. I know a couple of you were there (hi, guys!) and a few of you aren't particularly interested in steampunkery, so feel free to skip over this post.

This evening, my cohorts and I are headed out to a steampunk ball, which yes, is basically a costume ball where all the costumes have a common theme. It's sure to be full of geekery and awesomeness, though, so upon my return I shall regale you with stories and photos. Y'know, after I get home. So, uh, watch this space!

Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing. People have fought and died for the right to speak freely, and I think sometimes we take that for granted. I know I do. We get angry at the idea of someone censoring what we have to say, trying to tell us what opinions we can and can't hold.
